Sneak peak – drowning in turquoise fabric

Not a shop thing this week. This week, I’ve been drowning in turquoise fabric, making twelve choir robes for a dance show. I’ve already made choir robe number one, a prototype (that is luckily okay, I didn’t want to have to make a thirteenth!), that was heavily adapted from a Butterick pattern (to make it okay to dance in), I’m now making choir robes 2 – 12. At least one benefit of making multiples of something, is that you can do each stage in batches, yesterday, for example, I was sewing together all the yokes.
