Sneak peek – William Morris Hexies

I popped into the V&A this week and their shop is always incredibly tempting. I didn’t exactly have V&A shop money but their haberdashery display was so gorgeous and they had these tiny precut packs of V&A William Morris fabrics and I couldn’t resist. They have packs in multiple sizes but the tiniest pack is a bit of a bargain and just perfect for the pack of 1 inch hexagon templates that I’ve had cluttering up my stash for ages (so this doesn’t break my no starting new projects with totally brand new materials rule).

Anyway, I am currently working my way through the pack, listening to a creepy audiobook set in an old house, so the choice of fabric feels appropriate. I’m enjoying seeing how the EPP piece grows in its random way. I plan on making some sewing accessories with the finished piece or possibly just sewing accessory (singular) if the finished piece is a bit small.
