On the menu – noodles on my mind

Monday

These were interesting, garlic noodles from a recipe by Little Spice Jar. It has some interesting ingredients, namely butter and parmesan but the result is rather nice, tasting like proper takeout noodles. I did change the ingredients slightly, the recipe called for fish sauce and oyster sauce (bleurgh), so I switched to coconut aminos instead and it was fine.

Thursday

This was a feast, Firecracker Noodles from Art of the Larder. It’s a lot of ingredients to get together but keeping with the book title, most of it is store cupboard stuff and once you’ve got everything chopped and mixed and the noodles cooked, it takes next to no time.
