1.Lots of visits from the neighbour’s cat.
2.The big wide open spaces of Richmond Park.
3. A bus ride through a part of London I don’t often visit (an excellent people and architecture watching opportunity).
4. Stuart MacBride’s The Blood Road was a good audiobook listen, it was good to get back to some familiar characters.
5. The audiobook of The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli, it’s extremely well narrated by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch (the only better narrator I can imagine for this would have been Peter Capaldi). It’s interesting, I love how it goes into how the way humans see time is completely wrong but some of it does go completely over my head and I partly (only slightly) blame Cumberbatch for that because his voice is so relaxing, I sort of find myself drifting off …….
