November 2018 photos

This month’s photos are all from Richmond Park, one walk on a sunny day and one on a misty day. I can be a bit fickle about Richmond Park, I’ve walked it for years, so often crave somewhere new but sometimes, like this month, it’s really good to walk familiar paths and besides, it’s only…

October 2018 photos

Other than a walk on the Thames Path, this month I’ve photographed mainly the cat that’s not my cat. – and Richmond Park, which is looking glorious at the moment.

5 things I liked this week – 13.7.18

1. More fantastic walks in Richmond Park. 2. Helping out on the language school (where I work) summer trip. 3. That it’s been feeling (towards the end of the week) a little cooler but we could still desperately do with some rain, everything is yellow. 4. Listening to Motown. 5. The Trump balloon.

The whole of Homeland this series is brilliant but eek, this week’s episode, it started off a little slowly but I could barely breathe by the end. 3. I’ve finished reading The Immortalists this week, it…

I’m doing a writing course at the moment and absolutely loving it, my first pieces have just been assessed and I got some comments I’m really pleased with, particularly as I’m…

Beverly Brook Walk

I finally got round to doing the Beverly Brook Walk today, I’ve done bits of it before but not all of it. It runs along the Beverly Brook, through Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and along various other smaller commons near the Thames. It’s not, to be honest, the most exciting walk in the world but…

5 things I liked this week – 23.2.18

1. We went to see the Orchid Festival at Kew Gardens. 2. I had a nice walk in Richmond Park. 3. Enjoyed some gently spicy food. 4. Really liked listening to / reading (I have an audiobook / Kindle combo for this one) Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker, it’s totally fascinating. 5. Ironically, I’ve…
